The budget includes steps to make campuses safer and more inclusive. The government will provide sanitary napkins to girl students. It will also introduce the Siddharthan Student Welfare Act to prevent ragging and improve student welfare.
The government set aside ₹200 crore for the Kerala School of Planning and Architecture. It also allocated ₹25 crore for the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Scientific Temper. The centre will promote scientific thinking and research.
Kerala also plans to expand its presence in the space sector. The government will encourage private companies to take part in space research. It will offer incentives and land support for satellite launch firms. These steps aim to attract new investments and industries.
The budget provides ₹50 crore for Gen AI and other advanced technologies. It also allocates ₹10 crore for the Malayalam AI project. The initiative will support artificial intelligence tools in the Malayalam language.
