NHAI Local Toll Pass: Residents Within 20 km Can Buy Discounted Pass Through Rajmargyatra App

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has introduced a new facility that allows residents living within 20 kilometres of toll plazas to purchase local toll passes through the Rajmargyatra App. The initiative is aimed at reducing travel costs for people who regularly use the same toll plaza for daily commuting.

NHAI Launches Local Toll Pass

The NHAI Local Toll Pass is available for residents whose homes are located within a 20-kilometre radius of a toll plaza.

Eligible users can apply for the pass through the Rajmargyatra App, making the process easier and completely digital.

The pass is designed for people who frequently cross the same toll plaza for work, education or other daily travel.

Discounted Toll for Regular Users

The local toll pass offers discounted toll charges compared to regular toll payments.

The scheme is expected to benefit nearby residents by reducing their travel expenses while ensuring smoother access to national highways.

Only eligible residents meeting NHAI’s conditions can avail of the facility.

Available Through Rajmargyatra App

Residents can purchase and manage the local toll pass using the Rajmargyatra App.

The app provides digital access to the pass, allowing users to complete the application process without visiting toll offices.

NHAI said the initiative is part of its efforts to improve user convenience and make highway services more accessible.
