YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s helicopter reportedly faced difficulties obtaining landing permission while travelling from Bengaluru to Pulivendula in Andhra Pradesh. The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders have alleged that authorities initially refused permission for the helicopter to land.
According to party leaders, the helicopter circled in the air for around 20 minutes while waiting for clearance. They claimed that permission for an emergency landing was eventually granted after concerns arose over the helicopter’s remaining fuel.
Jagan was travelling to Pulivendula to exercise his voting rights. The incident has triggered criticism from YSRCP leaders, who alleged that the denial of landing permission was part of an attempt to prevent him from entering Pulivendula.
The party leaders have described the incident as a deliberate move against the former Chief Minister. However, the allegations and the circumstances surrounding the landing permission have not been independently confirmed.
The incident has raised questions about the reasons behind the reported delay and the process followed by the authorities in granting landing clearance.
