
Hyderabad:Allu Arjun Summoned in Pushpa 2 Stampede Case
Hyderabad: A Hyderabad court has summoned actor Allu Arjun in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.
The IX Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court at Nampally has asked Allu Arjun and 19 others to appear before the court on Monday.
The court will begin the trial next week.
The stampede happened on December 4, 2024, during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule.
M. Revathi died in the incident.
Her nine-year-old son suffered serious injuries.
Chikkadpally Police investigated the case and filed a chargesheet.
Police listed Allu Arjun as Accused No. 11.
The chargesheet names 23 people.
The list includes theatre management officials and members of the actor’s security team.
Police allege that theatre staff failed to control the crowd.
Investigators say the management allowed too many people into the theatre.
Police also claim that the management did not arrange enough security.
Authorities arrested Allu Arjun on December 13, 2024.
The Telangana High Court granted him interim bail on the same day.
A local court later granted regular bail in January 2025.
The trial will examine the events that led to the stampede.
The case continues to attract attention across the Telugu film industry.
