Reliance Launches Bombay Creamery Ice Cream Starting at ₹10

Reliance Consumer Products Limited has launched Bombay Creamery ice cream in India, with prices starting at just ₹10. The new brand entered the market on September 20, 2026, with a range of cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks. The company says the products use real dairy cream and follow its promise of offering “Global Quality at Affordable Price.”

Bombay Creamery Ice Cream Launch

Bombay Creamery is the latest addition to Reliance’s growing consumer products business. The company plans to offer different ice cream formats to suit customers across price points. The starting ₹10 price is expected to attract customers looking for affordable frozen desserts.

Reliance Consumer Products Limited Director T Krishnakumar said the company is not taking shortcuts when it comes to dairy quality. He described the launch as a long-term commitment rather than a short-term pricing strategy.

The company has initially launched Bombay Creamery in western India. However, Reliance plans to expand the brand to other parts of the country in the coming period.

Reliance Targets Affordable Ice Cream Market

The ₹10 starting price could help Reliance compete strongly in India’s large ice cream market. The company is already expanding its presence across several consumer categories with products aimed at mass-market customers.

The Bombay Creamery launch also follows Reliance’s wider strategy of offering products at affordable prices. Its earlier Campa beverage push showed how the company can use low prices to enter competitive consumer markets.

However, consumers are likely to watch the new ice cream brand closely. Some shoppers have already raised questions about whether the company can maintain product quality at such low prices. Others may also watch whether prices remain at the same level as the brand expands.

Nationwide Expansion Planned

Reliance has started the rollout in western India, but the company has wider plans for Bombay Creamery. A nationwide expansion could put additional pressure on established ice cream brands and give consumers more choices.

The new range includes cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks. Therefore, customers will have several options depending on their preferred format and price.

The launch comes as large companies continue to enter India’s fast-growing consumer market. With its strong retail network and large customer base, Reliance could give Bombay Creamery a wide reach.

The coming months will show whether the ₹10 pricing strategy can help the brand build a strong customer base while maintaining the quality promised by the company.
