“Festival of Lights to Illuminate Lives and Bring Progress” – Diwali Greetings from AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has extended his heartfelt Diwali greetings to the people of the state on this auspicious occasion.

Describing the festival, CM Naidu said, “Deepam Jyothiḥ Param Brahma Deepam Sarvatmopaham | Deepena Sadhyate Sarvam Sandhya Deepa Namo Astute,” emphasizing that the lamp symbolizes the supreme divine and that worshipping the lamp is a sacred act of devotion.

He highlighted that Diwali commemorates the day when Lord Krishna, along with Satyabhama, defeated the demon Narakasura, who had been tormenting the world. More than just a festival of lights, Diwali represents the triumph of light over darkness and goodness over evil.

CM Naidu expressed his wish that this Diwali brings more brightness into the lives of the people, spreading joy, prosperity, and harmony throughout Andhra Pradesh. He also hoped that the festival inspires progress and growth across the state, illuminating every corner with hope and happiness.
