NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam to Be Conducted

Full Fee Refund for Students

The NTA has also announced a full refund of examination fees already paid by candidates.

Authorities clarified that students will not face any additional financial burden because of the cancellation and re-examination process.

Many students welcomed the refund decision. However, several aspirants expressed frustration over the uncertainty and emotional pressure caused by the controversy.

CBI Takes Over Investigation

The Central Bureau of Investigation will now investigate the alleged irregularities linked to NEET UG 2026.

Officials believe the investigation could uncover a larger network connected to exam fraud.

Student organizations and opposition parties demanded strict action against those responsible for the alleged malpractice.

Meanwhile, education experts believe the controversy could trigger major reforms in India’s examination system.
