Jana Sena Party has strongly criticized the Telangana government after authorities denied permission for the “Telangana Nava Nirman Sankalpa Sabha – Jana Sena Sadhak Sammelanam” in Hyderabad.
The party planned the indoor event on Telangana Formation Day. Around 2,000 Jana Sena activists and leaders were expected to attend.
Party Planned Strategy Meeting
Jana Sena leaders said the summit was not a public rally. Instead, the party wanted to conduct an indoor meeting with Telangana leaders and active workers.
The event aimed to discuss the party’s future plans. It also focused on Telangana’s development and Jana Sena’s role in public service.
Furthermore, leaders planned to guide party cadres on strengthening the organization across the state.
Jana Sena Rejects Government’s Reason
Officials reportedly cited traffic and parking concerns while denying permission.
However, Jana Sena leaders rejected that explanation. They pointed out that Gachibowli’s Sandhya Convention Hall regularly hosts large events.
Corporate meetings, cultural programs and political gatherings take place there throughout the year. Therefore, the party questioned why parking concerns surfaced only for its event.
Party Mentions Nageshwar Controversy
Jana Sena leaders also referred to the recent controversy involving Professor K. Nageshwar.
According to the party, the professor has already withdrawn his remarks. In addition, Pawan Kalyan publicly stated that the Andhra Pradesh government would not take action on the issue.
As a result, party leaders argued that no controversy remained that could justify denying permission.
Focus Was Telangana Development
Jana Sena maintained that the summit focused on Telangana’s future.
Leaders wanted to discuss public issues, organizational growth and development goals. They also intended to strengthen coordination among party workers.
Moreover, the event would have helped the party expand its activities in Telangana.
Political Row Intensifies
The decision has now triggered a political debate.
Jana Sena supporters accuse the government of restricting democratic activities. Meanwhile, party leaders are exploring legal options to challenge the decision.
Consequently, the issue has become a major talking point ahead of Telangana Formation Day celebrations.
Political observers will now watch closely to see whether the party secures permission through legal channels and proceeds with the summit.
