Andhra Collector Enrols Son in Government School, Sets Example for Parents

Parvathipuram, June 18: In a move that has won praise across Andhra Pradesh, Parvathipuram Manyam District Collector Dr. N. Prabhakar Reddy (IAS) has enrolled his son, Krish Dharan Reddy, in a government school for Class 10.

At a time when many parents spend large amounts on private and corporate schools, the Collector chose to continue his faith in the government education system.

This is not the first time Dr. Prabhakar Reddy has chosen a government school for his children. Before moving to Parvathipuram, his son studied at a government Zilla Parishad High School in Patamata, Vijayawada. After the Collector’s transfer to Parvathipuram Manyam district, the student was admitted to a government high school in the district.
