‘YS Jagan 2.0’ Will Be Different : Special Focus on Party Cadre Promised: YS Jagan

Tadepalli, June 18: YSRCP President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a strong attack on the TDP-led government, claiming that the situation in Andhra Pradesh has become “terrible” under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Addressing party leaders and workers from the Rampachodavaram constituency on Thursday, Jagan said people across the state are comparing the present government with the previous YSRCP administration.

People Comparing Governments, Says Jagan

Jagan said discussions are taking place in every household about the current government’s performance. He claimed that the YSRCP government delivered one of the best administrations in the state’s history and fulfilled nearly all of its election promises.

“We brought respect to election manifestos. YSRCP implemented 99 percent of its promises and delivered welfare schemes according to a fixed calendar,” Jagan said.

YSRCP Brought Changes in Education and Healthcare

The former Chief Minister highlighted reforms introduced during his tenure. He said government schools, hospitals, agriculture, and welfare services witnessed major improvements under YSRCP rule. claimed that people no longer had to depend on middlemen or pay bribes to access government services during his administration.

Focus on Tribal Development

Jagan said the YSRCP government gave special importance to tribal welfare. According to him, more than three lakh ROFR land titles were distributed to tribal families. He also highlighted the establishment of medical colleges in Paderu, Parvathipuram, and Narsipatnam, along with a Tribal Engineering College and Tribal University.

“We worked with commitment and ensured development reached tribal regions,” he said.

Accuses Government of Failing on Poll Promises

Jagan accused the ruling government of failing to deliver several election promises. He alleged that schemes such as Amma Vodi, Annadata Sukhibhava, and free gas cylinder distribution did not reach beneficiaries as promised. According to Jagan, the government promised more benefits than YSRCP before the elections but failed to fulfil those commitments after coming to power.

Announces Future Padayatra

The YSRCP chief also announced plans for another padayatra in the future. He expressed confidence that his party would return to power and promised stronger support for party workers and welfare beneficiaries.

Jagan also assured support for Polavaram project-affected families and said YSRCP would continue fighting for compensation and justice for displaced people. The remarks come as political activity intensifies in Andhra Pradesh, with both the ruling alliance and opposition preparing for future electoral battles.

Jagan Promises “Jagan 2.0” Government

Jagan said a future “Jagan 2.0” government would focus even more on welfare, development, and support for party workers.He promised that every welfare scheme would reach eligible beneficiaries through a transparent system. He also assured party workers that they would receive greater recognition and support.

“Jagan 2.0 will take better care of party workers and ensure welfare benefits reach every deserving family,” he said.He expressed confidence that YSRCP would return to power and claimed that the current government’s rule would not last long.
