Fire Breaks Out In Four Karmabhoomi Express Coaches

A fire broke out in four coaches of the Karmabhoomi Express near Sarai Banjara in Punjab’s Patiala district on Friday afternoon. The blaze reportedly started in the fifth coach from the engine before spreading to nearby general coaches.

Railway teams stopped the train and began rescue operations. Passengers were evacuated safely, and officials brought the fire under control.

No official casualties have been reported so far. However, some social media accounts have claimed that passengers suffered injuries during the evacuation. These claims have not been officially confirmed.
