A GT Express Stone Attack left a loco pilot injured in Andhra Pradesh after unidentified miscreants hurled stones and heavy objects at the train near Singarayakonda-Ulavapadu in Prakasam district.
The incident involved Train No. 12616 GT Express. The attack injured loco pilot Jayaram while he was operating the train. Railway officials quickly arranged medical assistance and shifted him for treatment.

According to railway sources, the attack occurred while the train was passing through the Singarayakonda-Ulavapadu section.
The impact caused injuries to loco pilot Jayaram. Railway staff provided first aid at Ulavapadu railway station. Later, authorities shifted him to a hospital in Vijayawada for further treatment.
Doctors confirmed that his condition remains stable.
Railway Authorities Launch Investigation
Following the incident, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and local police launched a detailed investigation.
Officials have not identified the attackers or established a motive. Investigators are examining evidence from the scene and reviewing available information to trace those responsible.
