TNEA 2026 Rank List Released: Akshitha Tops Tamil Nadu

Chennai, July 1: The TNEA 2026 rank list is now available. Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister Govi Chezhiaan Viswanathan released the rank list on Wednesday. Akshitha from Dharmapuri secured the first rank. Rohit Balan from Tiruppur finished second, while Venkata Krishnan from Namakkal secured the third rank.

Every year, Anna University conducts engineering admissions through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) single-window counselling system. More than 460 engineering colleges take part in this admission process.

TNEA 2026 Rank List Includes Over 2.36 Lakh Students

This year, the TNEA 2026 rank list includes 2,36,017 students.

The total consists of:

  • 1,30,767 male students
  • 1,05,246 female students

In addition, 53 students scored a perfect cutoff of 200 out of 200. The Minister said this reflects the strong competition for engineering seats across Tamil Nadu.

Students Can Check the TNEA 2026 Rank List Online

Students can check their ranks on the official TNEA website.

The engineering counselling process will begin after the authorities complete the grievance process. Therefore, students should verify their rank details as early as possible.

Grievance Window Open Until July 5

Students who notice any mistakes in the TNEA 2026 rank list can submit their grievances from July 1 to July 5.

Moreover, students can visit their nearest TNEA Facilitation Centre for help. If a student’s name is missing from the rank list or any other issue arises, they should contact officials before July 6.

Top Three Rank Holders

The top three students in the TNEA 2026 rank list are:

  1. Akshitha – Dharmapuri
  2. Rohit Balan – Tiruppur
  3. Venkata Krishnan – Namakkal
