YS Jagan Announces Padayatra From September-October 2027

Tadepalli, September 9: YSR Congress Party president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that he will undertake a statewide Padayatra in September or October 2027.

Jagan made the announcement while addressing a meeting of YSRCP workers from the Parchur Assembly constituency in Tadepalli on Wednesday.

The announcement brings clarity to the timeline of the much-awaited mass outreach programme, which has been the subject of considerable discussion among party cadres.

According to Jagan, the Padayatra will begin in September or October 2027 and is expected to cover several parts of Andhra Pradesh, with the YSRCP chief interacting directly with people during the programme.

The proposed Padayatra is likely to provide Jagan and the party an opportunity to connect with people at the grassroots level, understand local concerns and strengthen the party’s organisational network across the state.

The announcement comes as the YSRCP continues its efforts to consolidate its cadre and prepare for the next phase of political activity in Andhra Pradesh.

Further details regarding the route, duration and schedule of the Padayatra are expected to be announced by the party at a later stage.
