Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay may visit Andhra Pradesh on October 13, according to preliminary reports. During the proposed visit, he is likely to meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
The possible meeting is expected to focus on important issues concerning both states. Discussions may include Chennai’s water requirements and matters related to the Andhra Pradesh–Tamil Nadu border. However, the proposed agenda and meeting details have not yet been officially confirmed.
Vijay may also visit the Kanaka Durga Temple on Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada to seek the blessings of Goddess Kanaka Durga. Reports also suggest that he could participate in the Vijayawada Utsav on the same day.
If the visit takes place, it could bring attention to cooperation between Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu on shared concerns. Water requirements, border-related matters and coordination between neighbouring states are important issues for both governments.
However, the visit, meetings and proposed activities remain tentative based on the information currently available. An official announcement from the Andhra Pradesh or Tamil Nadu government is awaited.
