Amaravati:The Andhra Pradesh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global logistics company Aramex to strengthen the state’s export ecosystem and help Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) reach international markets.
The agreement aims to provide better logistics, transportation, and export support for businesses across Andhra Pradesh. Officials said the partnership will help local MSMEs expand their presence in global markets and improve their competitiveness.
According to the government, the initiative is part of a larger plan to increase the number of exporters in the state from around 8,000 to 1 lakh over the next 12 months. The collaboration with Aramex is expected to simplify export procedures and provide businesses with access to global shipping and supply chain solutions.
Speaking on the occasion, officials highlighted the importance of exports in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and attracting investments. They said the partnership will open new opportunities for entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses looking to expand beyond India.
The Andhra Pradesh government has been focusing on improving infrastructure, logistics, and ease of doing business to position the state as a major export hub. The MoU with Aramex is expected to play a key role in achieving these goals.
Industry experts believe the partnership will help MSMEs reduce logistics challenges, improve delivery efficiency, and gain better access to international customers.
With this agreement, Andhra Pradesh hopes to strengthen its export sector, support local businesses, and contribute to India’s growing global trade presence.
