Tadepalli, February 19, 2026: In a move signalling renewed organisational consolidation after the 2024 electoral setback, the YSR Congress Party has appointed convenors across key European nations to strengthen its overseas network.
Under the leadership of Party President Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the party named representatives in five countries, a step aimed at energising the diaspora base and streamlining coordination abroad.
Newly Appointed Europe Convenors:
• Gaddam Krishna Teja Reddy – Germany
• Sarathi Reddy Vanga – Netherlands
• Brahmananda Reddy Bavigadda – Switzerland
• Kishore Akepati – Ireland
• Sai Kumar Reddy Yeruva – Cyprus
According to the party’s central office, the convenors will oversee outreach initiatives, mobilise supporters, and expand the party’s organisational presence in their respective countries.
Why This Matters
Indian regional parties are increasingly recognising the strategic value of the diaspora, not just for financial support, but for narrative building, digital amplification, and policy advocacy abroad.
For YSRCP, which is recalibrating its political strategy post-2024, strengthening overseas coordination could serve multiple purposes:
• Building international visibility
• Consolidating Non-Resident Andhra support
• Creating structured communication channels
• Enhancing digital campaign ecosystems
This is not merely an organisational reshuffle. It reflects a broader shift in how regional parties view global engagement, from symbolic representation to structured political networking.
As India’s regional political forces globalise their outreach, the Andhra Pradesh political narrative is now travelling beyond borders.
