Air India Mumbai Toronto Flights Begin with New Dreamliners from October 2026

Air India Mumbai Toronto Flights Announced

Air India has announced the launch of its new Air India Mumbai Toronto flights, which will begin on October 25, 2026. The airline will operate three non-stop flights every week between Mumbai and Toronto using upgraded Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. From January 2027, these services will be upgraded to the airline’s new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering passengers a more comfortable and modern flying experience. The Air India Mumbai Toronto flights will make Air India the only airline offering direct non-stop services between Mumbai and Toronto.

The new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner features redesigned cabins with improved seating, enhanced passenger comfort, premium economy class, and onboard Wi-Fi connectivity. These upgrades are part of Air India’s ongoing fleet modernization programme aimed at improving international travel and customer experience. The aircraft will provide a better travel experience for both business and leisure passengers flying between India and Canada.

Air India has already introduced the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on its daily Delhi-Toronto flights. With the addition of the Mumbai route, the airline will increase its capacity to Toronto by around 4,400 seats every month. The upgraded aircraft will also provide 71% more premium seating options, meeting the growing demand for premium international travel between the two countries.

By early 2027, all Air India flights to Toronto are expected to operate with refreshed interiors and upgraded cabin features. The move reflects the airline’s continued investment in modern aircraft and premium services while strengthening air connectivity between India and Canada.

The launch of the Air India Mumbai Toronto flights is expected to benefit business travellers, students, tourists, and the Indian diaspora living in Canada. The direct service will reduce travel time, improve convenience, and offer more travel options for passengers flying between Mumbai and Toronto.
