New Delhi, June 12: The India Gulf of Oman Mariners Deaths issue has escalated diplomatically after India formally protested to the United States over the deaths of three Indian sailors during military operations targeting vessels linked to Iran-bound oil shipments.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar spoke with Marco Rubio, expressing India’s deep concern over the deaths of Indian nationals serving aboard commercial vessels in the Gulf of Oman.
