Bagalkot, June 14: A Bagalkot Land Compensation Dispute turned dramatic after a frustrated farmer allegedly slapped a government official during an argument over compensation delays linked to land acquired more than two decades ago.

The incident occurred at the Bagalkot Town Development Authority (BTDA) office, where farmer Dodamani confronted senior assistant Neelakanth Ankad regarding compensation for land acquired for a road development project.
