Karnataka High Court Allows Hindu Convention in Basavakalyan With Conditions

Bengaluru, June 25: The Kalaburagi Bench of the Karnataka High Court has allowed a mega Hindu convention in Basavakalyan, Bidar district. However, the court said the organisers must follow strict conditions during the event.

The organisers had approached the court after seeking permission to hold the convention. After hearing the matter, the court allowed the programme with clear directions.

Organisers Must Follow Court Directions

The court asked the organisers to work closely with the district administration and the police. It also told them to follow every rule issued by the authorities.

Moreover, the organisers must ensure that the event does not affect public peace or create law and order problems.

Police to Monitor the Event

Meanwhile, the police will make security arrangements for the gathering. They will monitor the event and take action if anyone breaks the rules.

In addition, officials will watch the programme to make sure everyone follows the court’s directions.

Conditions Remain Important

The organisers must:

  • Follow all government and police guidelines.
  • Maintain peace during the event.
  • Cooperate with district officials.
  • Ensure that speeches and activities remain within the law.

If the organisers fail to follow these conditions, the authorities can take legal action. They can also withdraw the permission if necessary.

Therefore, the Hindu convention can now take place in Basavakalyan. However, the organisers must follow every condition set by the Karnataka High Court. At the same time, the district administration and police will work together to ensure the event remains peaceful and safe.
