Vijay Rejects BJP Alliance Proposal
Actor-turned-politician Vijay, widely known as Thalapathy Vijay, has reportedly rejected an alliance proposal from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Sources say a political intermediary recently contacted Vijay through a phone call. The person reportedly suggested that Vijay’s party should consider joining the BJP alliance in the upcoming elections.
However, Vijay clearly rejected the idea. He reportedly told the intermediary that his party would continue its independent political path.
The political atmosphere in Tamil Nadu is heating up as the state moves closer to the next election cycle.
TVK Leaders React Strongly
Reacting to the reports, Jhon Arokiasamy, who is associated with Vijay’s political circle, strongly opposed the idea of joining the BJP alliance.
“Alliance with BJP is like committing suicide,” he said.
He explained that Vijay’s political movement is gaining support from many sections of society.
According to him, minority communities, women, and young voters are increasingly supporting Vijay’s political vision.
Support Base Could Be Affected
Jhon Arokiasamy also warned that joining the BJP could damage the party’s growing support base.
“Minority communities, women, and youth in Tamil Nadu are on our side. If we join the BJP alliance, we will lose this support. BJP itself will destroy us,” he said.
He added that the party believes it has a strong chance in the upcoming elections.
Because of this confidence, the party does not see a need to join any national alliance.
AIADMK Alliance Under Pressure
The TVK leader also claimed that rival alliances are becoming nervous as the political situation changes.
He said the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) alliance could struggle in the upcoming elections.
“There is a high chance that we will win this election. The AIADMK alliance may come in third place. That is why they are asking for our support,” he said.
Vijay’s Independent Political Strategy
Since entering politics, Vijay has focused on building a strong and independent political movement.
His message focuses on social justice, youth empowerment, and better governance.
