Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has approved 55 industrial projects worth ₹7,506 crore, paving the way for the creation of more than 28,000 jobs across the state.The approvals were granted during a meeting of the State-Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) chaired by Large and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil.
Focus on Development Beyond Bengaluru
A major highlight of the approvals is that 41 of the 55 projects will be located outside Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural districts. The move is part of the government’s “Beyond Bengaluru” initiative aimed at promoting industrial growth in other regions of Karnataka.
According to Minister M.B. Patil, the projects will boost economic activity, attract investment, and create employment opportunities across multiple districts.
Foreign Companies to Invest in Karnataka
Among the approved projects, four involve Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Taiwan-based Teaming Automation will invest ₹20 crore, while South Korea’s YJ Link plans to invest ₹177.96 crore. Germany-based Revum will invest ₹16.50 crore, and Japan’s Shinko will invest ₹100 crore in Karnataka. The investments highlight Karnataka’s growing appeal as a destination for global manufacturing and technology companies.
Aerospace and Electronics Lead Investments
Most of the approved projects belong to the aerospace, Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), and engineering sectors.Out of the 55 proposals, 35 projects involve investments exceeding ₹50 crore each. Another 15 projects fall in the ₹15 crore to ₹50 crore range.Additionally, five companies will expand their existing operations with a combined investment of ₹223.61 crore.

Several leading companies have announced major investments across Karnataka:
- Kaynes Electronics – ₹495 crore in Chamarajanagar
- SFO Technologies – ₹490 crore in Doddaballapura
- Orbit Industrial Park – ₹454 crore in Kolar
- Terra Circuits – ₹441 crore in Vijayapura
- Bellatrix Aerospace – ₹404 crore in Bengaluru Rural
- JSW Port Logistics – ₹380 crore in Ballari
- Shahi Exports – ₹337 crore in Kalaburagi
- Infragalaxy – ₹300 crore in Dakshina Kannada
- Hi-Tech Metallics – ₹250 crore in Vijayapura
- Praxair India – ₹210 crore in Hoskote
- Sobha Realty – ₹201.15 crore in Bengaluru Urban
- RMZ – ₹198.62 crore in Hoskote
Other notable investments include Rhone Power in Gadag, Vahini Polytech in Tumakuru, Aries Refinery in Kolar, Ayatana Hospitality in Kodagu, and Bulk Liquid Solutions in Bengaluru Rural.

The approved projects are expected to generate over 28,000 direct and indirect jobs across Karnataka.Industry experts believe the investments will strengthen the state’s position as one of India’s leading manufacturing and technology hubs while supporting balanced regional development.
With large investments flowing into aerospace, electronics, logistics, engineering, and hospitality sectors, Karnataka is set to witness significant industrial growth in the coming years.
