DMK Black Badge Protest: MLAs Ask CM Vijay to Speak on Law and Order

Chennai ( 17 June 2026): DMK MLAs entered the Tamil Nadu Assembly wearing black badges on Wednesday. The badges carried the message, “Open Your Mouth, CM.”

The party asked Chief Minister Vijay to speak on law and order issues. DMK leaders said people want clear answers from the government.

DMK Raises Concerns

DMK members pointed to several recent incidents across Tamil Nadu. They said the government must address public concerns.

The opposition also urged the Chief Minister to respond directly in the Assembly.

The black badges drew attention as the Assembly session began. DMK MLAs displayed them while entering the House.

The protest highlighted the growing political fight between the ruling TVK government and the opposition.
